Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Bahasa Arab Melalui Metode Role Playing Pada Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Speaking skills (Maharah Kalam) are one of the essential competencies in Arabic language learning because they enable early childhood children to communicate effectively in various situations. However, many early childhood children still experience difficulties in speaking Arabic due to limited vocabulary, lack of confidence, and insufficient opportunities to practice oral communication during the learning process. These challenges indicate the need for an appropriate learning method that encourages active participation and continuous speaking practice. This article aims to examine efforts to improve the speaking skills early childhood children (Maharah Kalam) through the implementation of the Role Playing. The study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The discussion is developed through the analysis of relevant literature related to Maharah Kalam learning and the application of the Role Playing method in Arabic language education. The findings show that the Role Playing method creates a more interactive, engaging, and child-centered learning environment. This helps early childhood children to understand learning materials more easily while improving their confidence, vocabulary mastery, pronunciation, and speaking fluency. Therefore, the Role Playing method can be considered an effective alternative for improving early childhood children's Maharah Kalam and supporting a more meaningful and communicative Arabic language learning process.
